Ever wonder why penang is so jammed???

yesterday (28 Dec 2008) i go out to KBJ (Kompleks Bukit Jambul)... i decided to go there by public transportation... after a few check up through Rapid Penang website, i go down the road to the bus stop... i'm suppose to take the bus numbered 401E, going down to the jetty from Balik Pulau, which is quite doubtful since there has been no bus numbered other than 401 passed by...

When I'm up on the bus, the driver laugh at me just because i take his bus to go to the KBJ... WTF???? Anyway, since he said to wait at the bus stop at the other side of the road, i went there... After waiting a while, at the brink of giving up there's a bus coming... numbered 401... take that bus, to the nearest Petronas Bayan Baru... at the Kg Jawa... cross the roads, and walk to the KBJ... waaaa... i suddenly miss my matriculation times... it has been that long since I did such walking... the distance is much like the Kuantan's bus terminal to the Megamall... is it?? might be shorter... i think much more like Kuantan's town bus terminal at the benteng to Kuantan Parade...

and it suddenly comes to my mind... In Kuantan, even though the bus does not cover all the important areas, but they do drop us at the nearest area to the important areas... so close that we just walk about 100m or somewhat like that... and the info given to the customer is reliable, either from the driver or the bus label itself... In Penang, Rapid's website itself doesn't give reliable info... so, what the heck???? people always wondering what to do, which bus to take... and even by referring, we get the wrong info from the company itself... so, when ppl ask me why is it the road is so congested in Penang, I would answer "it's because the government, doesnt matter either they are BN or DAP is too stupid to do sumthing about it... that's making the citizen refuse public transportation and own their transport"

that's one issue we're dealing with... another thing is, the area that i'm residing is a quite dense residential area... and every year, there will be Penang Fest (Pesta P.Pinang) but how come the government is so ignorant to build an overhead bridge for ppl to cross the roads while every year when the fest is on, the ppl is always crossing the 6 lane road dangerously???

another issue of penang is, the fest is done every year... but, no parking lot for the visitors... and the ulat2 parking will do their job... parking just beside the road, u r charged with RM3... WTF??? the parking is just beside public road, and not roofed... no security and guarantee that your car is safe there, but RM3??? dey, even big Queensbay Mall only charge you with RM1 for 5 hours... haiyaaaaa...
