anyway, today i read Megabait online... it's actually a small insider in Utusan Malaysia... back to the story... I discovered 2 new terms in malay, translated stupidly direct into malay... oh my, I hope those translator would learn a little bit about malay and know the rules that we should never translate "kata nama khas"...

The result of yesterday's trip...
hehe... in spite of grueling about the public transportation that almost make my mood for going out is ruined, i still manage to get myself to KBJ and shop a few things... after going around, up and down... Below is the result...
well, the fan is for me to sleep soundly at night and staying up nicely at the noon... yeah, now it did cool me down at noon... haha... very nice fan... but quite expensive i think... RM61??? what do u think???
and there it goes, 4 movies... haha... 24:Redemtion, Transporter 3, Get Smart, Disaster Movie... havent seen all of them yet... still looking for good time to watch them...

Ever wonder why penang is so jammed???
yesterday (28 Dec 2008) i go out to KBJ (Kompleks Bukit Jambul)... i decided to go there by public transportation... after a few check up through Rapid Penang website, i go down the road to the bus stop... i'm suppose to take the bus numbered 401E, going down to the jetty from Balik Pulau, which is quite doubtful since there has been no bus numbered other than 401 passed by...
When I'm up on the bus, the driver laugh at me just because i take his bus to go to the KBJ... WTF???? Anyway, since he said to wait at the bus stop at the other side of the road, i went there... After waiting a while, at the brink of giving up there's a bus coming... numbered 401... take that bus, to the nearest Petronas Bayan Baru... at the Kg Jawa... cross the roads, and walk to the KBJ... waaaa... i suddenly miss my matriculation times... it has been that long since I did such walking... the distance is much like the Kuantan's bus terminal to the Megamall... is it?? might be shorter... i think much more like Kuantan's town bus terminal at the benteng to Kuantan Parade...
and it suddenly comes to my mind... In Kuantan, even though the bus does not cover all the important areas, but they do drop us at the nearest area to the important areas... so close that we just walk about 100m or somewhat like that... and the info given to the customer is reliable, either from the driver or the bus label itself... In Penang, Rapid's website itself doesn't give reliable info... so, what the heck???? people always wondering what to do, which bus to take... and even by referring, we get the wrong info from the company itself... so, when ppl ask me why is it the road is so congested in Penang, I would answer "it's because the government, doesnt matter either they are BN or DAP is too stupid to do sumthing about it... that's making the citizen refuse public transportation and own their transport"
that's one issue we're dealing with... another thing is, the area that i'm residing is a quite dense residential area... and every year, there will be Penang Fest (Pesta P.Pinang) but how come the government is so ignorant to build an overhead bridge for ppl to cross the roads while every year when the fest is on, the ppl is always crossing the 6 lane road dangerously???
another issue of penang is, the fest is done every year... but, no parking lot for the visitors... and the ulat2 parking will do their job... parking just beside the road, u r charged with RM3... WTF??? the parking is just beside public road, and not roofed... no security and guarantee that your car is safe there, but RM3??? dey, even big Queensbay Mall only charge you with RM1 for 5 hours... haiyaaaaa...

Cerita Tentang Kasut....
You all must be wondering, what is so significant with the shoes... here is the story...
after get into the office, watching few episodes of My Name Is Earl (yeah, my computer is not there yet, nothing to do...) I went out to have some lunch and jumaat with some friends... we went to the mosque, i keep my shoes just beside a vase... quite hidden from normal human being's eyes... however... because in this very big big world as said by Emilia, there are humans that are abnormal... people go to the mosque to do good things, pray, recites, but these stupid f*cking abnormal people go to mosque to steal... somehow, he marked my shoes and after the jumaat my shoes is gone...
it's not a mere mistakes... apparently, the very same spot as my shoes were kept, there are other 2 people who lost them... it was taken by purpose, or stolen...
leave that shoes behind as i will never find them back anymore.... but how do I get into the office bare feeted??? that's is ridiculous... haha... we went to Sunshine and buy a pair of new shoe... what to do... it's emergency anyway... but save that for later shopping... The pic above, is the one that i bought yesterday... haha...

hahaha... funny thing and bad thing happen today...
it's 11 already... hmmm... started to getting bored... why??? my computer that is said should be here on today, still can't be seen... i dont know what happen... hmmm... anyway, it's not like i dont have things to do... but i cant do them...
hehe... as the title said... funny things happen today... i was thinking, i would like to try the bus today... clumsiness of me, left behind a few things in my room making me a little bit late and missed one bus that left at 7.15... whatever, just wait another 15min, here we go... another bus... take that bus, i should stop at the petrol station's bus stop... but somehow i didnt see it coming and i missed it... so, i decide... let's go to balik pulau, and return here again... hahaha... i thought it wont take long.... but guess what, it was 1 hour trip... then, i take the return bus... rushing to my office, manage to come in like around 9.30... sit around for a while, then find out that my supervisor and boss (department manager la...) is not in yet... haven't seen them yet today, probably they're not coming in... continue their holiday till this coming monday...
that's the funny story... as for the bad thing, somehow i mistakenly not to close the lid of my water tumbler tightly and the water came out... lucky me, i put my laptop with the tumbler, so some of the water might have gotten into the laptop... probably damaging the USB circuitry... USB have been gone on and off detecting unknown device... annoying...

A little bragging to do... haha...
Yessssss.... yesterday i did my badge... picture above is my badge... it's already everywhere, anypage associated with me... friendster, facebook, skype, ym... hahaha...
waiting for tomorrow where my desktop is said will be on my desk... hopefully it's there or it will be another day of lepak2... i might even consider bringing my gamepad and play need for speed there if things get worse... anyway, since most of the ppl in my department take leave for tomorrow for the sake of long holiday (thursday until monday) so, it might not be wrong for me to appear a little bit late than usual... i'm taking the bus for tomorrow... and i'm wearing the simplest attire as it would be... but probably bringing my jacket... last time, the office turned to be very cold than usual that i might scream... i was in a formal shirt... it still that cold... damn it...
anyway, if bus doesn't appear tomorrow hopefully syuk will come and fetch me... hahaha...
anyway, my project assignment was codenamed Pineview... and I was wondering what is Pineview actually??? since no briefing has been done to me... anyway, after a little google... what i find is quite shocking... haha... it was Intel's next gen Atom processor.... apparently, the team is doing some testing on the patterns of the design... but, please... dont ask me any further coz me myself dont even know if the pineview we are working is the Atom processor or some other things... and i dont even know the details!!!! what you find in google, is also what i know...

Internship...
yay... at last.... after a little waiting and patience done, i start my internship in Intel Penang... well... let's start with pre, and current...
Pre-Internship...
it starts with the accommodation preparation... hmm... what to say... the assembled team for the accommodation is much like fooling around (probably including me... huhu) and what happen is i'm havin a hard time looking for at least only a room to let for me to stay, even for temporarily... anyway, at last i find this one place in Batu Uban, Pangsapuri Sanctuary... quite old but good enough to stay... like i'm in this room 24/7... haha...
whatever it is, i still dont decide if i'll move out from here after this or not... it depends... if i dont own any transport in this 2 months, i think i might move out for a better place... it's hard here without good transport... yes, i can survive living in this small room but boredom will overwhelm me... with no transport, means no shopping, no going around... even i'm bored in this room, i cant do nothing....

on the first day of internship, i jump into the boredom mode in no time... since my desktop computer is not around yet, i still dont have access to my email account, access to other documents like reference on the on-going projects, and basically i can only do nothing... u might think it's good right? yeah, how good it is when u went into a meeting and u can only look at others and the presentation without u actually understands a damn thing??? XD... really, all those things were not thought in UMP... most of us learn about making a device, wired... never did wafer fabrication, chipset design, pattern... when we come here, it's totally a new thing to us... wow... haha... anyway, the first day fly by quickly... settle down the accommodation, bringing in my belongings to my room, and everything... the family went back and i'm left all alone in a strange place, strange town... wooo... without internet, my life has been too awful... i cant get my sis' maxis broadband connected to the internet because it is barred... outstanding bills... huhu... anyway, it is already paid and now still cant be used... wonder why... anyway, it has been a long day for me and i'm already get tired at 10pm... at 11.30pm, i went to sleep... huhu... anyway, a few msgs come in from Nabillah (glad u msgd me at last... even though i'm already asleep, but i did wake up back to reply ur msgs...)
2nd day, i went to office with my friend, Syuk (thanks for the car pool... hehe... u r the only one i can depend on for transportation for now... it will only be temporary... dont worry...) went out for a while to settle banking issue with HR... anyway, i just found out a shocking truth about Penang... haha... guess what, the cab fare is too much... from FIZ 3 Intel PG12 to Maybank Bukit Jambul, only a few km away... not even 7km i think... still, it's in town service... the fare is already RM12... what the heck??? nk bina piramid ka??? after settle the banking issue, I went back to office, play some minesweeper, solitaire then get some lunch... after lunch, fax the form to Unit LI, and pray... then go back to office, attend my first meeting (yup, the one that i can only look at the presentation and other faces...) i dont understand anything... because no briefing has been done to me... haha... anyway, i'll learn slowly with references given to me... hopeully i'll learn in no time since it seems to be i'm far away behind...
Conclusion
i'm happy with current situation i'm in, eventhough not really happy about my accommodation and transports... hopefully my friends will help me on that... u guys leave me alone behind, u'll know what i'll do... hahahaha... XD
Pre-Internship...
it starts with the accommodation preparation... hmm... what to say... the assembled team for the accommodation is much like fooling around (probably including me... huhu) and what happen is i'm havin a hard time looking for at least only a room to let for me to stay, even for temporarily... anyway, at last i find this one place in Batu Uban, Pangsapuri Sanctuary... quite old but good enough to stay... like i'm in this room 24/7... haha...
whatever it is, i still dont decide if i'll move out from here after this or not... it depends... if i dont own any transport in this 2 months, i think i might move out for a better place... it's hard here without good transport... yes, i can survive living in this small room but boredom will overwhelm me... with no transport, means no shopping, no going around... even i'm bored in this room, i cant do nothing....

one of my favourite things to do is surf around without specific purpose... well, that's just me... sometimes i do go wikipedia and actually clicked 'random article' out of boredom... and i actually read it!!! haha... well, weird thing to do but definitely benefit me somehow...
anyway, what i wanna tell is i haven't been able to do that since the connection of my internet is actually very bad... how bad? usually, if it is bad enough we only get slow load after a click right? and then if it is really slow, the browser will state that there might be connection problem after some times... but what if u didnt have any connection at all? yup, the error msg of connection problem is up immediately... and in my case, i actually have good wireless signal connecting at 54Mbps at all time but i keep getting connection problem error... how bad is my connection??? not sure if it is only my lappy, coz it seems to be others didn't experience this... but my dad did complain about slow connection nowadays in spite of 1Mbps from TMNut's Streamyx... what a mess... even downloads isn't as fast as it should be... sharing connections is laggy... not fast enough... probably router problem??? do i need a new router??? let's have daddy to decide that... hahaha...

first time in blogger...
at last, irritated with the situation of Friendster's Blog, I decided to move to Blogger's blogging host... since most of us do use blogger I guess it won't hurt to move and change... plus, there will be more freedom here. I can put more things, I can do more things, I can change more things...
Okay... This will be the first post of me... so, i'm still getting familiar with new situation, new features and new interface... haha.... it seems to be i've to get familiar with many things after this... first of all, this new blogger is new for me... second, i'm going to a quite unfamiliar place tomorrow... Penang!!! Here I come!!!! haha... it's going to be the awaited time of my life... i'm going to have my industrial training (or commonly said as practical) in Intel... yup, Intel... the biggest processor maker. haha...
so, good luck to me...
